DO.

Be patient with me on this post.
When I was 14, I started martial arts.
My dad had an Army background and trained in martial arts and thought it would be an excellent way for us to spend time together.
I agree. But, he also applied that to baseball and homework projects, so he did plenty.
Martial Arts has been a big part of my life, from Muay Tai to Ju Jitsu (Shin Gi Tai and Gracie), and I have worked with some solid boxers and D1 wrestlers.
Ultimately, it led me to a cage, in board shorts, and a lot of life lessons learned.
At the foundation, my father was trying to have an additional common bond and also teach me how to protect myself and my family to the best of my ability.
I'm sure that neither of us realized how all this would positively impact me in life and work.
There was a crude lesson that was consistent throughout the last 40 years that I believe applies to high performance in general.
"Cutters never show, and showers never cut."
Oof...I know...why talk about THAT?!
I state it because it applies to our high performance in sales and work in general.
We know people who talk a good game or demonstrate that they COULD be something more.
Those who achieve are doers.
They silently advance.
They rise through the grind.
They remain focused on the objective.
They achieve their intended result.
They don't talk.
They do.
I recognize the sinister analogy.
But, to me, it's significant.
You don't have to be loud to achieve.
Do.
